PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA

My travels to Palm Springs were a little tough, but I made it safely. Let’s just say the airline accidentally booked me on a trip to Canada, after missing my layover. Thankfully I caught it, but had to fly into Ontario, California and then take a (two hour) Lyft to Palm Springs airport to pick up my luggage. Like I said, it’s a long story – and one of the many reasons I prefer Delta over any other airline. Anyways… when  I thought about traveling to Palm Springs, I thought I would see hot pink and palm trees. I wasn’t completely wrong… and you’ll see why.

I actually loved my time in Palm Springs. It was warm and calm, and I felt at peace there… even though I was working. While we were there, we hosted a flamingo-themed party for our guests (cue the hot pink), a glow version of Top Golf, and we had the chance to relax by the pool on our final day. Did you know that the pools in Palm Springs are constantly pumped with cold water, because it is so hot there? You could tell, too.

We didn’t have much time to explore outside of our hotel, but I hope to go back one day do things like hike San Jacinto Mountain, see Painted Canyon (also known as Ladder Canyon), take pictures of the palm trees in Indian Canyon, or drive out to Joshua Tree Park. I’ll be sure to let you know the next time I pass through.
